Safe in Providencia
We just anchored after 36 hours enroute. Safe and sound.
THanks Sherry, I have both books and the Pavlitis book as well. THe saltysailors wp list is great. It has a flaw however. THe PDF file is protected so that one can't (or at least I can't)copy the wpt's to a spreadsheet(or word doc) which means that I have to transcribe them by hand, which is not only tedious but error prone. I found the same (I think) wp at windswept42.com and have copied them.
When I get a wp from any source I first plot it on Google Earth to see if it is sensable and then plot it on a paper chart. Oops, I was about to bore you with my system for maintaining wp.
I am planning to follow in your footsteps FL-MX-BZ etc. I' wondering if you would share your waypoints for the W Caribbean?

The best waypoint list in the NW Caribbean can be found in the PDF file found on this site:

Look for 'NW Caribbean Charts Ebook'
I am trying to post the significant waypoints south of there.
Also, get the updated guidebooks by Freya Rauscher and Steve Pavladis.
