Once a boat has checked in a few times, we can usually identify them when they check in subsequently, even if a weak signal. Glad Odyle is still sailing! So are we... just in a different Soggy Paws.Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08874482332307651799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6865235966202611886.post-67246101908275443632021-03-14T21:37:07.314+09:002021-03-14T21:37:07.314+09:00Former owner of Odyle here... Odyle was the origin...Former owner of Odyle here... Odyle was the original name of the boat given by her builders from Port Townsend, Washington. In 2010 the boat was owned by Stephen Phillips I believe. Surprised you called him "new", he had been an accomplished captain well before that time is my understanding, even owning a 90' square rigger or something similar. Perhaps he was allowing his kid to use the radio, as us cruisers often do to teach them. Anyway, when I purchased the boat I didn't want to change the name to keep good luck going. Odyle is a boat loved by many of her past builders and owners!Phillipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17838303132050478296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6865235966202611886.post-66652926288606899762020-10-01T13:31:01.304+09:002020-10-01T13:31:01.304+09:00Great to hear about your voyage.Beautifully writte...Great to hear about your voyage.Beautifully written and good photos.Thank you.<br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17489215356773208246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6865235966202611886.post-58612524560058497242020-07-16T11:59:10.207+09:002020-07-16T11:59:10.207+09:00Yes, a used a teeny bit of watermaker water to rin...Yes, a used a teeny bit of watermaker water to rinse the betadine out.
